This is how actor Gerald Anderson described the reunion of his character Tupe and his ex -girlfriend Rita played by actress Yam Concepcion in the series “Init sa Magdamag.”
In an interview, Anderson said that his comment on the crossing of paths between Tupe and Rita, who is also with his wife Peterson (JM de Guzman), was similar to the reaction of the viewers.
“I can’t relate to that. I think in the comments I read on the scene we had that Tupe, Rita and Peterson met. ‘Awkward.’ ‘Oh my God!’ ”The actor’s story.
He said that even if that happens in real life, mutual respect should remain despite the awkward situation.
“It’s a very awkward situation. In real life, you just go back to always remembering that you were happy and you maintain respect no matter what happens, ”Gerald explained.
The star of the series also shared advice with her character on what she should do when they meet Rita again.
“She is gone. He sees that Peterson really loves Rita. It’s a very awkward situation, ”the actor added.
But he admitted that Tupe’s situation is also difficult because he still loves his ex -girlfriend.
“You love him, you haven’t been able to get over him yet, use that energy in a positive way that Tupe did during the first week of the show,” Anderson said.
“You have to physically stay away because you can’t do that. Even if you don’t love it anymore, it’s awkward. ”
Gerald added that it was even more difficult for his character to meet Rita again because of the scene where the couple slept in Tupe’s bed.
In the said interview, the three stars of the series also mentioned that the story of “Init sa Magdamag” is just beginning to heat up.
“We’re just warming up,” De Guzman said in the released “Init Chronicles” video of the series.
Concepcion, on the other hand, likened the water heating to the scene in the coming weeks for the new teleserye.

Viewers are already looking forward to a series of revelations in the series where Peterson will offer Tupe to be their sperm donor so that Rita can get pregnant.
